MLVB Split, the Mende Lozère VB team fund
An app developed in a single day to manage the Mende Lozère VB Men’s Regional 2 team’s shared fund: travel expenses, snacks, and tracking of deposits and withdrawals.

BACKGROUND
The club only covers part of the team’s travel expenses. To cover the rest, the players set up a shared fund. They needed to find a way to track deposits and withdrawals without losing track of the numbers, and to let everyone see where the money is going.
WHY NOT TRICOUNT
Tricount is designed for splitting costs where everyone’s balance should return to zero at the end. Here, the logic is different: this is a shared fund that covers travel expenses and possibly snacks, not a system for reimbursing players. MLVB Split was built specifically for this purpose, rather than repurposing a tool designed for something else.
WHAT THE TOOL DOES
- Tracks deposits and withdrawals from the fund
- Centralizes expenses related to travel and snacks
- Read-only access for players, so everyone can see the fund’s balance
FIRST AND FOREMOST, A PERSONAL PROJECT
I don’t just develop for clients or in a professional setting. MLVB Split addresses a very specific need—that of my team—using the same tools and the same level of rigor as in my professional projects. Coded in a single day, built to last.
A FOUNDATION DESIGNED TO EVOLVE
Today, MLVB Split remains a SaaS solution reserved for the men’s R2 team; it is not open to the public. But the project was coded with this in mind: we plan to open it up to other teams in the club as the season progresses.
