Bulk Import of WordPress Posts
NRV Publications Importer: Add, edit, or export hundreds of publications using a simple CSV/Excel file, including images (ZIP archive).
Background
NRV Publications Importer is a WordPress plugin developed for the NRV agency that simplifies bulk content management: adding, editing, and exporting posts with just a few clicks.
Manually creating each product listing or article quickly becomes tedious as the volume increases. The plugin offers an alternative: importing via a spreadsheet file.
Key Features
- Bulk import: Add or update posts from an Excel or CSV file.
- Export for editing: download existing posts, edit them offline, then reimport the file.
- Images via ZIP: Each post is linked to an image folder; edit the images locally, then reimport the archive to update the galleries.
- Various types: posts, pages, products, and custom content types.
Continuous Evolution
Originally designed for e-commerce products, the extension has evolved to support all content types, including images and custom content types. It has become a comprehensive self-service tool for the agency’s clients.
The Results
Significant time savings on high-traffic sites, an interface accessible to non-technical users, and true autonomy in day-to-day content management.
