NRV Group Booking is a custom WordPress booking plugin designed by the NRV agency to solve a problem generic reservation tools handle poorly: managing group bookings for restaurants, with deposits.
The need
Restaurants taking large group reservations need more than a contact form. They need to hold a date, secure a deposit, and keep every booking organised in one place, without juggling spreadsheets or third-party platforms that take a cut of each cover.
The solution
I took over the development of this plugin and continued to maintain it after becoming a freelance web developer. The plugin automates the booking flow end to end and connects to the Swikly online service to collect and manage deposits without storing card data.
