Full-Stack Developer & Backend Specialist

After nearly four years as a freelancer, I’ve completed more than fifty projects for a wide variety of clients. I’ve learned a lot from this experience, but I often move on from projects once the interesting technical part is finished, without having the opportunity to see a product through to completion over the long term. I’ve also worked on a team before, at the NRV agency, and it’s that sense of community that I miss today. I want to rejoin a technical team so I can dedicate myself to a single product over the long term, exchange ideas with other developers, and grow alongside them, rather than facing my decisions alone.

I’ve been coding since I was a teenager—a passion that has never left me. After earning a BTS in Computer Systems in Mende and then a professional bachelor’s degree in digital communication, I enrolled in the Software Architect and Application Developer master’s program at Epitech Toulouse. I then spent a year and a half as a back-end developer at the NRV agency before going freelance for nearly four years, completing more than fifty projects for small businesses, SMEs, and agencies throughout France. On a personal note, I’m based in Mende, in Lozère; I play competitive volleyball at the regional level, and I still keep one foot in the worlds of chess and tech trends.

On the backend side, Symfony and PHP are my core areas of expertise, along with API Platform for building clean APIs. I also work with Python for automation and data processing. For CMS and e-commerce, I use WordPress and Shopify, with PHP extensions and the WP REST API deployed across more than 100 sites. For databases, I use MySQL and Redis for caching. On the front end, I use JavaScript, Vue.js, and jQuery to build interfaces that are consistent with the backend. And for infrastructure, I use Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, with Nginx and Apache for deployment.

My top priority is a position as a backend or full-stack developer, focusing on Symfony, APIs, or automation—though I’m open to other tech stacks if the project is interesting. As for team size, I’m flexible: I’m just as drawn to a small team where I can make a quick impact as I am to a larger team where I can learn from experienced developers. What matters most to me is the technical quality of the project and the team spirit.

I prefer remote work, or a hybrid model if the team is nearby. I’m based in Mende, in Lozère, so I primarily look for positions in the south of France, but I’m open to working with a team based elsewhere if remote work is flexible, with occasional travel for team-building activities or team meetings—once a month or a few days per quarter, for example. The exact arrangement will depend mainly on the benefits offered and how the team operates.

Yes. Before becoming a freelancer, I spent a year and a half as a back-end developer at the NRV agency, where I managed the tech stack alongside other developers. Since then, even as a freelancer, a significant portion of my projects has involved coordinating with in-house teams or other service providers, particularly at NRV, with whom I continue to collaborate regularly. Working alone on the technical side has never prevented me from communicating and coordinating with others.

Yes, on a daily basis. ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Claude AI help me work faster on repetitive tasks or when exploring technical approaches, but I use them as a tool to speed things up—never to replace critical thinking or code review. For me, the quality and clarity of what I deliver are non-negotiable.

It’s hard to pick just one, but the projects where I was able to build a complete application from start to finish have left the biggest impression on me—such as the ERP and CRM systems I developed using Symfony for clients with very different needs.
